IMPORTANT:

*All persons applying for consular services must make an appointment in advance via e-mail: [email protected] or by phone 202 234 5860, ext. 8 (from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday - Thursday; from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on Friday).
Applicants must not attend the Embassy without first making an appointment, as admission will not be possible.

ATTENTION:

After Mission's business hours in case of emergency call the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vilnius, Lithuania at (370) 5 236 2444.

The consular services include:

  • issuance of repatriation certificates
  • processing documents for the replacement and issuance of Lithuanian passports
  • performing notarial acts
  • processing documents for the registration of marriages, births, deaths or other acts of civil status in the Republic of Lithuania
  • issuance of consular certificates, etc.

IMPORTANT:

Advanced appointment via e-mail or phone is required for all the consular services including issuance or replacement of Lithuanian passports, applying for Lithuanian citizenship, performing notarial acts and for submitting applications for Schengen visa.
