On May 3 Mr. Linas Linkevičius, Ambassador-at-Large at Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who is on a visit to Washington, D.C., and U.S. officials and experts discussed the readiness of the Lithuanian institutions to fight against nuclear terrorism and smuggling of radiological materials, and the best practices of coordination among various state institutions in this area.
