A NEW WEBSITE TO INFORM ON THE PROGRESS OF PREPARATIONS FOR THE UPCOMING LITHUANIAN EU PRESIDENCY
Starting 26th November everyone, interested in the upcoming Lithuanian Presidency in the Council of the European Union, will find the latest updates and relevant information in the new website www.eu2013.lt “We hope that the new design and content arrangement of the website will be handy for journalists, public officers and all visitors in search for information about the upcoming Presidency and Lithuanian activities in the European Union” – says Mr. Remigijus Motuzas, director of the EU Council Presidency department, MFA.
Every week the website will present the latest results of Presidency preparations. On www.eu2013.lt visitors will find all the info materials on competitions for the broader society, public procurement and the possibilities to join the Presidency team.
The website will also be available in English. “In the recent months more and more foreign partners are interested in our Presidency preparations, such as our colleagues from neighboring Latvia, which will have its EU Presidency in 2015, – notices Mr. Motuzas. – We want our partners in the EU to get the latest information on the upcoming Lithuanian Presidency at first hand”.
