Dear Friends,

I warmly wish all Lithuanian Americans a joyous holiday season!

This year was an especially important year for Lithuania and all Lithuanians, living in Lithuania or abroad. Together, we celebrated 100 years of Lithuania’s restored independence.

I would like to thank the Lithuanian community residing in the United States for your steadfast support of the Lithuanian culture and traditions, for proudly sharing Lithuania’s rich history and current developments and for retaining strong and enduring ties with our homeland.

During the Christmas holidays, I hope that you and your family will be surrounded by all the warmth, love and peace this holiday season brings. May you also spread this joyous holiday spirit with friends and loved ones in Lithuania.

I hope that 2019 brings success and fulfillment in any endeavor you pursue.
