Embassy celebrated the Centennial of the restoration of the state of Lithuania
On February 15-18 Lithuania's Ambassador to the USA Rolandas Kriščiūnas and Embassy's team celebrated the Centennial of the restoration of the state of Lithuania in Washington DC and joined Lithuanian American communities across the East Coast in their celebrations.
The Embassy of Lithuania invited Lithuanians living in a greater DC area and the friends of Lithuania to sing the National Anthem by the White House on the February 15 and at the exact time when the clocks in Lithuanian showed the midnight, and when Lithuania entered into the second centennial of the modern statehood. Ambassdor of Lithuania Rolandas Kriščiūnas participated in the Centennial celebrations organized by Lithuanian American communities in Washington DC, New Jersey, New York. Lithuanian diplomats also participated in the Centennial celebration in the Lithuanian Hall in Baltimore.
