Lithuania honors the fallen U.S. servicemen and women at Arlington National Cemetery

On Monday, June 9, Chair of the National Security and Defense Committee at the Lithuanian Parliament Giedrimas Jeglinskas, Ambassador of Lithuania to the United States Audra Plepytė, and Lithuania's Defense Attaché Col. Mindaugas Mažonas participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
At the ceremony on Monday, Chairman Jeglinskas, Ambassador Plepytė, and Col. Mažonas honored fallen U.S. servicemen and women who paid the heaviest price defending freedom around the world. The ceremony highlighted the indispensable military relationship between Lithuania and the United States and Lithuania's deepest gratitude to the United States for its staunch support of our security. Lithuania stands shoulder to shoulder with the United States in making our nations, and our Alliance, stronger and safer together.
