LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER AND THE ADJUTANT GENERAL OF THE U.S. PENNSYLVANIA NATIONAL GUARD DISCUSS BILATERAL COOPERATION

On June 21,  Audronius Ažubalis, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Major General Wesley Craig, the Adjutant General of Pennsylvania National Guard and thanked him for cooperation in Afghanistan.Evaldas Ignatavičius, Deputy Minister off Foreign Affairs, who also participated in the meeting, thanked the U.S. for their active participation in the NATO air police mission in the Baltic States.The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of cooperation between Lithuania and Pennsylvania National Guard in training Afghan police forces in the province of Ghor.Audrius Brūzga, head of the Vilnius-based Energy Security Cente acquainted Major General Craig with the center's activities and noted that his institution aimed to become a NATO center of excellence.
