LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CONVEYS CONDOLENCES OVER THE DEATHS OF THE U.S. DIPLOMATS IN LIBYA ATTACK

On 12 September, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis conveyed condolences to the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over the deaths of the U.S. diplomats in a terrorist attack in Libya and strongly condemned the attack, which took four lives. The letter of Ažubalis reads: “It is with great shock that I learned about the attack on the United States diplomatic mission in Benghazi leading to the tragic loss of live of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. This is a very sad moment for entire diplomatic community. I strongly condemn this attack. I would like to extend my sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims.”
