LITHUANIAN PIXELMATOR NAMED MAC APP OF THE YEAR

The image editing app released by the Lithuanian software developer Pixelmator was named the App Of The Year by Apple last week. A couple of months ago Pixelmator also won the prestigious Apple Design Award. Pixelmator, established by two Lithuanians in 2007, steadily gained a reputation as a solid alternative to Photoshop and today ranks as the fourth best-selling app on the Mac App Store, trailing only Apple’s own Aperture, iPhoto, and Pages.
