Lithuanian traditions presented at the International Children’s Festival

On April 29 the Embassy of Lithuania together with Lithuanian School of Washington participated at the International Children’s Festival organized by the Culturfied Foundation. Students, parents and teachers of Lithuanian School introduced Lithuanian traditions, culture and history to the guests of the festival. Folk dance group from Lithuanian School also performed traditional Lithuanian songs, including Sutartinės (unique Lithuanian multi-part songs). The premier festival at Ronald Reagan Center was a one-day interactive, educational event with an audience of more than 6,000 attendees.
