LITHUANIA'S FOREIGN MINISTER TO VISIT THE U.S.
Lithuania's Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis will visit the United States on November 13-17 where he will meet with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Members of the U.S. Congress and other top-ranking officials. The meetings in Washington will cover topics of the upcoming NATO summit meeting, the Lithuania's presidency over OSCE, next years Community of Democracies ministerial meeting in Vilnius, relations with Eastern neigbours and the situation in Afghanistan. The minister will start his visit to the U.S. from Chicago where he will deliver a lecture there and meet with the local Lithuanian community. On November 16, the minister will deliver a public lecture at the Brookings Institution on Frontiers of Europe and challenges for Lithuania's chairmanships.
