"NORTHERN JERUSALEM' PROJECT PRESENTED IN THE US
On Jan 14, Antanas Zabulis, Chairman of Board of the non-governmental institution “Northern Jerusalem” presented to a group of representatives from the US administration, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Jewish American organizations and Lithuanian-American community at the Lithuanian Embassy in Washington, DC The Virtual Litvaks’ Museum which aims to create, preserve and share the heritage and culture of Lithuanian Jews, both in Lithuania and beyond its borders. Zabulis said that the project gives Litvaks from around the globe a possibility to re-connect with their homeland, virtually visit places they have never been to and share relevant information.
