SCANDINAVIAN VISMA INVESTING IN LITHUANIA
June 30, 2011 a Scandinavian supplier of business software, outsourcing services, commerce solutions, retail IT solutions, and IT-related development and consultancy Visma has established a subsidiary and is launching active business operations in Lithuania. Visma will create over 20 jobs in Lithuania. Mantas Urbonas, Managing Director of Visma Lithuania says that Lithuania was selected due to its professional and business ties, high-quality IT specialists' supply and investor-favourable business climate. Services of Visma Lithuania (mainly in Java EE and Microsoft.NET technological platforms) will be supplied to company's clients in Scandinavia.
Visma is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and has 100 offices throughout Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, England, Ireland and Romania. The company serves 240 000 customers in Northern Europe and employs over 4 400 people. In addition, its net revenue amounted to NOK 4 168 billion in 2010.
