The State Secretary of the United States of America John F. Kerry congratulates Lithuania on the commissioning of the NordBalt and LitPol Link electricity interconnectors
“On behalf of the U.S. Government, I would like to offer my sincere congratulations on the commissioning of the NordBalt and LitPol Link electricity interconnectors. Today’s commissioning marks an important step forward for regional energy sector integration. We commend Lithuania, Sweden, Poland, and all the other partners for bringing to fruition these critical energy infrastructure projects” – states John F. Kerry in his letters to the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and the Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius. The U. S. State Secretary emphasizes, that Lithuania has been a true leader and reliable partner in support of energy security and diversification efforts in Europe.
