Thousands guests visit the Embassy, as it opens the doors to the public during #EUOpenHouse
On Saturday, May 11, The Embassy of Lithuania in DC [together with all other 27 European Union Embassies and the European Union Delegation] opened its doors to the public, welcoming thousands of Washingtonians.
“For every Ambassador and every diplomat it is an immense gratitude to welcome so many guests and friends at the Embassy,” said Lithuanian Ambassador Rolandas Kriščiūnas. Visitors had a chance to learn about Lithuanian lasers, biotechnologies, and other innovations; had a chance to experience Lithuanian culture and musical performances, to taste Lithuanian food. It was a joyful day, and a rare occasion when “no appointment” was needed to speak with the Ambassador!
