Visit the Embassy of Lithuania on May 11th, 2013, the EU Embassies’ Open House Day
On May 11th 2013 from 10 AM to 4 PM the Embassy of Lithuania will join the Delegation of the European Union to the US and the Embassies of 27 EU Member States plus incoming Member State Croatia for the annual European Union Embassies’ Open House event ‘Shortcut to Europe’.Located in the historic building of the Adams Morgan Historic District on 16th Street for almost 90 years, the Embassy of Lithuania will feature a conceptual photography exhibition by one of the most significant Lithuanian photographers, V. Luckus, and will invite visitors to sample Lithuanian national food and drinks thanks to Food Depot International.
Embassy staff will encourage the guests to explore Lithuania’s geo-political landscape, cultural heritage, achievements in science and technology, and tourism opportunities through Twitter.
