US CLOSELY WATCHES SAFETY OF N-PLANT PROJECTS IN BALTIC REGION

The US administration is closely watching all nuclear energy-related process in Lithuania and around it, both the closing of old nuclear power plants and the construction of new ones. This position was expressed in a meeting, held on May 11 between Lithuanian Energy Minister Arvydas Sekmokas and US. Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman.
