ZINGERIS TO RECEIVE 2010 TRUMAN-REAGAN MEDAL OF FREEDOM

On November 9, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Emanuelis Zingeris will receive the 2010 Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom Award from the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, in recognition of his campaign in the Council of Europe and elsewhere to expose the victims and crimes of communism. Also  receiving the Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom on November 9 will be Robert Conquest, the noted author and historian, and Harry Wu, the executive director of the Laogai Foundation.


The 2010 Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom  Award ceremony will take place at the Embassy of Lithuania on November 9, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
